Combat Cellulite with an Improved Diet

We’ve spoken before about how you can use certain techniques and scrubs to fight back against cellulite, but can improving your diet lead to similar effects? By incorporating some of these tips into your meals, you’ll be well on your way to smooth skin in no time.

We hate to sound like a broken record but it’s so important to stay hydrated! It can help you in all aspects of your life, from making you less tired to improving your appearance. Another advantage is that water will help to flush out toxins stored in your fat cells, enabling your body to better break down cellulite.

Green Tea

Green tea is fantastic for burning fat as well as speeding up your metabolism by stopping fat-absorbing enzyme production. Drinking three cups of green tea every day will ensure you see serious results, as well as burning more calories than other hot drinks, so replace your morning coffee with tea instead!

Coconut Oil

A couple of spoonfuls of coconut oil a day will help you to burn fat and aid with cellulite reduction, and you can even use it as a moisturiser on your legs as well!

Believe it or not, gelatine is fantastic for your hair and joints, as well as tightening loose skin and providing your body with much-needed collagen. Be warned though—vegetarians will have to find an alternative, as it does contain animal byproducts.

Omega-3 Fatty Acids

One theory regarding cellulite is that it’s caused by consuming the wrong fats. Omega-3 fatty acids, meanwhile, are the exact thing you body needs to keep your skin smooth and cellulite-free! Introduce more fish into your meals, or replace vegetable oil with almond or olive oil.
